Opava Summer of Fun

Every summer, the Opava Cultural Organization, in cooperation with the city, prepares a series of activities and events aimed at revitalizing the city center and making it more attractive for both residents and visitors to Opava. Throughout July and August, a number of events take place on Ptačí vrch (Bird Hill), offering daytime and evening programs for the whole family in a relaxed atmosphere. You can relax on the grass, have a picnic, take part in workshops for adults or children, take dance lessons, and enjoy great food and drinks. Events in the arcades are also part of Opava Summer. Here you can visit exhibitions, concerts, dance evenings, and many other activities.

Opava Summer of Fun traditionally ends with a cycling trip called To Opava for Fidorka, to Krnov for Kofola along the cycle path leading from Opava to Krnov. Other popular summer events include Pony Express and Athletic Circus.
